"Painting as Prop was the objective", it got a positive critique from the class! I made these using acrylic paint on small 1/2 ' thick plywood.

Diorama
For my research studio class we had to create an art piece that represents the 'sublime'. I made a 2' x 4' diorama loosely based off the video game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl." This is what I did within a two week period.
Starting off by attaching a canvas to the back and gessoing it.
The bare bones of the project.
I took this reference picture for the skyline for my backdrop. This was quickly taken outside in Harlem where I picked up some supplies.
Just a few more steps.
The mess it created in the dorm's studio space.
At about 5 in the morning, just about everything was coming together.
The completed work:
After completing all this work, I made a short photo series which can be found Here!
