Comic/mixed media
Wanted to see what my cartoons would look like if I drew them with pen then colored it in Photoshop. I have some more planned.

Animatic:
For my story boarding class we were instructed to make an animatic in After Effects that centered around specific guide lines. We had to make a story that took place in a certain time, it had to be raining, and the characters had to miss whatever it was they were going to watch. I was lucky enough to be working with After Effects in two different classes so I could get some extra exposure and in the long run I think it paid off. I really like these characters and will continue to make stories around both Angel and Merill.

First dive into film making!
Our first project in my Moving Image course, just to experiment with what the class could make a 16mm Bolex camera. It was awesome to use these cameras and I really want to try animating with them. I worked with a small group of classmates, who all contributed directing, shooting, and light metering. This was a really fun assignment and I think the ending result is really good.

End of Semester Figure Studies:
Some more drawings from my figure study course (it's been a while since I've posted some of the things I drew, so they should go from oldest to newer pictures).
This one I feel isn't the best, but still not too shabby if I do say so myself.
One of the models is a pretty cool guy; he jokes with us, and is always excited to do fun poses. He was instructed by our teacher to wear this hat. Unfortunately though, because he was late to class, we had to start late and didn't get a chance to complete the work. Regardless, this is a good way of showing how these drawing are completed.
And finally, this is what I drew for today's class. There was a couple of substitute teachers and they were all giving me compliments. I have really come to enjoy figure drawing!
